Safety Alert: Fire Ash & Log Disposal

To protect our community and our maintenance staff, please remember that burnt logs and hot ashes should never be placed in trash bins.

Embers can remain active for days and may reignite once compressed inside a trash truck, creating a massive fire department emergency.

Disposal Requirements:

• Soak ashes/logs in water or let them sit in a metal container for at least 48–72 hours.
• Ensure all materials are "cold to the touch" before bagging and disposing.
• Thank you for doing your part to keep Powder Haven fire-safe!
